I am so bad and I am so behind on my updates. I’m sorry Ysh that I didn’t check our email in time to post your message. Better late than never?

Thanks for sending us a message, already sent you an invitation so you can post directly to our blog.
By this time everyone has heard about our impromptu joy ride last friday (thanks alot Anna!) so I need not elaborate on the details. I will add though that the “ditching” comment I made on our way home was a joke ok? hehehe I am so bad!
Joel, Anna let’s just keep that one to ourselves OK?… for future reference…
Anna gave me the specific dates that she applied for her vls so let’s try and schedule our out-of-town adventure during those dates. I would appreciate any comment (or suggestions) on this one. Assuming that JB’s invitation is still open we can try Bataan (as it is nearer than Ane’s Sagada suggestion). One more place we could try (since IT IS summer) are the beaches in Batangas or (long shot) how about a road trip to Ilocos? that should be fun and the beaches there are so beautiful. Suggestions please. Last week of May is a long way off so any time you guys want to go for a ride again I am your girl
Anyway here are some more pics from Annabel’s last April 4th courtesy of Cassie. Most of them I will need to edit and as we speak I am struggling to upload the first photo (I’am still on dial-up folks so bear with me). I still need to get the pics off her SD card from our pot luck party so for the meantime let’s just enjoy poking fun at these few pics:

That is as far as I can go for this evening. Cheers everyone and God Bless us all.

Hi Nini! You’re a lifesaver. I was so problematic about some recent unfortunate events and a night out with you, Joy, and Joel was just what I needed. I had sooo much fun, I didn’t even think about it the whole night! Thanks guys. Oh, and you were so true to your word, too, to take me home early… HA! …the next day!!!
Nini, it’s great to know there’s someone who shares my choice of music. I’m quite impressed how you’ve remained cool and patient when we seemed to be going in circles looking for Joy’s house. It was hilarious how we couldn’t find the darn house… ehem… “with the small number, okay!!!” and WHAM! we were actually right in front of it already! For a good 15 minutes too! Goodness! And, oh, how you charmed that “Puss In Boots” look-alike huh. And I realize what such a good heart you have that I think you actually would’ve let Joel go down and save that pooch in the middle of the road if it hadn’t had the sense to go back to the sidewalk by the time we made our right turn by it.
Joel, I realized after our conversation at the bar that that was the most words exchanged between us, even counting high school. Uh, hold on, I could’ve sworn somebody had told me the same thing before…anyway… We ended up with sore throat, haha, but it’s good to get to know you again. I still stand by what I said, “To hell with them; it’s their loss!” They have no idea what they had let go, right Nini? I actually believe that men like you are an endangered species, but I’m lucky to know at least two of you now. Hey, the next time you have a “Pursuit of Happyness” moment again, keep me in mind! You promised!
OMG, Joy, I couldn’t believe that foreigner-guy thought you were checking him out! Or were you, hmmm… I think you would’ve ended up exchanging digits if we didn’t decide to leave already! Just enjoy your “boylet” in the meantime and “go with the flow” as my favorite person in the whole world would put it. Too early to get cerebral about it anyway. It’s bliss to be single, ainit!
Hey, Michaela, watch out for Joy. Competition! Lol.
Nini, thanks for that moral booster. I heart you, gurrrl!

In 2 days my husband is turning 40. I don’t get there till next year. I’m in a dilemna, I don’t know what to give him. I’ve given him watches and other things in the past. I certainly don’t want to give him something that I’ve already given. Corny. I want something unique. His 2 best buds are treating him to a mesotherapy session. He’s a bit hesitant because he isn’t sure of the outcome. I assured him that I’d go in for my sessions after him. I was planning a special, chef prepared dinner but he’s not a gourmet food fan. I was thinking of planning a short vacation out of the country but he is so busy and we’re going on our vacation this September. I can’t think of anything. I still have 2 days.

This post is a bit late since Gaby graduated last month. I just couldn’t find the disc that contained the Grad-pics. I seem to lose things a lot these days. Gaby moved up from Pre-Nursery to Nursery. She received an award for “Best in Art, Manipulatives, and Teacher’s Good Helper”. Some of the pictures are not very good because it was difficult to jostle for space among the other parents who were also photo-op hungry. Despite all the instructions not to hog the space in front, everyone was just anxious to stick their digicams and handycams into their children’s faces. Including myself and my husband. Lunch was Gaby’s choice. We went to Max.

Last Monday was the start of the girls’ swimming program. It’s a 10-day program by the end of which I hope they will have developed a love for swimming, or at least of the water. The first day was mostly “getting to know the teachers” and how to get into the pool without slipping. Being the over anxious Mom that I am, I was constantly hovering despite the fact that their 2 yayas were already there with them. I also insisted that Adi be covered by an umbrella for fear that she might have another nosebleed in the pool.
Day 1
The second day was a bit less stressful. I moved them to the earlier class (8-9a.m) because the previous class was a bit too hot for the kids. It was a good move as the girls seemed to enjoy the class more. Gaby had now progressed to sitting by the pool steps and was trying to blow bubbles in the water. Adi, on the other hand, was still freaking. I think it was more because there were too many people for her own comfort. The swim coach suggested that either myself or her yaya get in the pool with her and let her just play first which is what we did on Day 3.

Day 2
On Day 3 Gaby tried walking in the water. She started by doing it by the steps and slowly progressed to walking across the pool. By the time the class ended Gaby was walking across the pool by herself without holding her teacher’s hand. Yahoo!!!

Day 3
